Refund policy

If a marker isn't right, you can return it within 30 days of delivery. Here's how returns work at Pieces of Eight Golf.

The 30-day window

You have 30 days from the day your order arrives to request a return. To qualify, the item must be:

• Unused, with no wear on the marker face or edges

• In its original packaging, including any capsule, sleeve or box it shipped in

• Returned with everything it came with, including any certificate of authenticity

How to start a return

1. Email sales@8rgolf.com with your order number and the item you're returning.

2. We'll reply within 2 business days with return instructions and the address to ship to.

3. Ship the item back with tracking. We're not responsible for returns lost in transit, so tracking protects you.

Please don't ship anything back before we've confirmed the return. Packages we weren't expecting can't be processed.

Numbered and limited editions

Numbered pieces can be returned within the same 30-day window. The original numbered certificate must come back with the marker, since the edition number travels with the coin. Without the certificate, we can't accept the return.

Custom and personalized orders

Custom pieces are final sale. This includes commemorative engraving, personalized reverses, and custom designs for outings, events and businesses. They're made for you and can't be resold. If a custom piece arrives damaged or doesn't match the proof you approved, we'll make it right (see below).

Damaged, defective or wrong items

Inspect your order when it arrives. If something is damaged, defective or not what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We'll send a prepaid return label and either replace the item or refund it in full, including original shipping.

What isn't a defect

Our markers are made from natural materials, and some variation is part of their character:

• Patina. Brass and copper darken and develop patina with use and exposure to air. That's the metal aging, not a flaw.

• Natural inlays. Abalone shell varies in color and pattern from piece to piece. No two match.

• Hand finishing. Small variations in finish and color fill are part of making each piece by hand.

Exchanges

Want a different design or metal? Email us and we'll hold the new item for you while your return is on its way. Once we receive the original, we'll ship the exchange and settle any price difference.

Refunds

Once your return arrives, we'll inspect it and email you within 5 business days to confirm. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method. Your bank may take another 5–10 business days to post it.

• Original shipping charges are refunded only when the return is due to our error.

• Return shipping is paid by the customer unless the item arrived damaged, defective or incorrect.

Gifts

If you received a marker as a gift, we'll issue store credit for its value once the return arrives. We'll never let the person who gave it to you know.
